Full job description

The Quayside Hotel and Bar is looking for a motivated individual to help manage the daily operations of our thriving and fast-growing hotel and restaurant. As our business continues to expand, we need someone with strong hospitality experience, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering great guest service.

Responsibilities

Supervise hotel and restaurant teams, including front-of-house, housekeeping and kitchen.
Manage day-to-day operations such as staff scheduling, inventory control and promotions.
Maintain high levels of customer service, handling enquiries and feedback professionally.
Train and support staff to uphold hospitality, service, and food safety standards.
Be flexible with working hours, including evenings and weekends.
Work with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of ingredients and hotel supplies.
Ensure all health, safety, and hygiene procedures are followed.
Support menu development and contribute ideas as the restaurant continues to grow.
Lead by example with strong communication, organisation, and teamwork.
A driving licence is essential for occasional wholesale trips.
Ability to lead and motivate staff in a busy, fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of restaurant service and general hospitality practices.
