Full job description

We’re looking for an experienced Guest Service Host to join our outstanding Rapport team in Manchester. Our client is a rapidly growing, globally recognised American banking and financial services organisation. This role offers an exciting chance to support a major global-alignment project while delivering an exceptional, hotel-inspired service experience to all key stakeholders.

You’ll be joining a collaborative EMEA team of 24 and continuing to expand. Despite being spread across the region, the team works closely together and is eager to welcome a new member. In this role, you’ll be a vital presence on-site, fostering a positive, engaged workplace community, supporting employee satisfaction, and addressing any day-to-day challenges that arise.

Contract type: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: 40 per week (Monday-Friday; 8 AM - 5 PM, with flexibility for overtime as per business needs)

Salary: £31,417 per annum

Main Responsibilities

Working alongside the team to manage the switchboard at all times.
Being involved in staff events from the social aspect to planning and implementing with the office leadership team.
Booking and supporting all meetings and events, using our own booking and visitor management systems.
Meeting and greeting all guests who visit our office
Liaising with the catering team regarding all meeting hospitality.
Supporting local office team with ad-hoc administrative duties.

The ideal candidate will

Ideally, have at least one year of experience in a similar role within a fast-paced and dynamic establishment (e.g., five-star hotel or corporate environment).

Be effective communicator and team player.
Strong computer knowledge.
