Introduction:
Here at Lite Ltd we are a Festive/Architectural lighting company based in Burnley. At Lite we pride ourselves with supplying and manufacturing lighting for the UK and overseas.
The lighting we supply is your commonly known Christmas Lights (will be displayed throughout various towns and cities). We also manufacture festoon lighting in house and also supply major projects with elite Architectural lighting.
Job Description:
You will be responsible for returned annual schemes, which are stored here at Lite on a rental/purchase contract. Within the agreements, you will be in control of the upkeep of these returned products prior to them being returned to the customer later in the year.
In addition, there will also be generic warehouse work which involves, picking/packing of orders, stock control and handling of heavy duty goods. You will also be loading and unloading goods onto vehicles where applicable. The candidate would also need to be willing to away work on site completing repairs on the the Christmas Lights to ensure our customers have product that works efficiently throughout the Christmas period.
Your Responsibilities:
· Completing an inventory of the returned scheme
· Testing and inspection of all products
· Repairs to any products
· Labelling all products accordingly
· ID numbers to be added to each product
· Heavy lifting
· Stock control
· Picking and packing
· Loading and unloading of vehicles
· Ensuring your work space is clean at all times
. Maintenance on site where a Cherry Pickers may be used.
Requirements:
· Basis knowledge of electrics (not applicable, training will be provided)
· Possess good numerical and literacy skills
· Good Quality control experience
· Works well under pressure
· Works well within a team and alone
· Flexible approach to working hours (Additional Hours in the busy Months of the Year)
· Honest, reliable and punctual
· Clean Manual Car Driving License (Essential)

Additional Information:
As you can appreciate our busier months will be from August to December, therefore, you will be required to do overtime where applicable. Please acknowledge this prior to applying for the position. Hours of work:
Mon to Thurs: 08.00am to 05.00pm
Friday: - 08.00am to 2.00pm This will change to 5:00pm in the later months of the year.
Salary and Position:
Meets National Minimum Wage
£7.55 - £12.21 an hour (this is dependent on your age bracket)
Full Time: 40hrs per week
