The Opportunity
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of projects, we are looking to recruit an Assistant Contracts Manager to support the successful delivery of our heritage and restoration projects.
Working closely with our Contracts Director, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of heritage and restoration projects across the business. You will work alongside site teams, clients, consultants and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards. This role offers excellent exposure to all aspects of project delivery and provides a clear pathway for career development within Stone Edge.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Contracts Director and site teams in coordinating project activities across multiple sites
- Monitor project progress and assist with reporting to the management team
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams to ensure efficient project delivery
- Assist in maintaining project documentation, including site records, quality documentation and health and safety records
- Attend site meetings and progress meetings as required
- Monitor project programmes and assist in identifying and mitigating delays
- Liaise with clients and consultants to maintain effective communication throughout projects
- Assist with procurement and coordination of materials and subcontractors
- Carry out site inspections and audits where required
- Promote and maintain high standards of health and safety
- Support the delivery of projects to programme, budget and quality expectations
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience within the construction industry in a supervisory, coordination, project management support or site management role
- Good understanding of construction processes and site operations
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office packages, including Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams
- Experience using Asta Powerproject or similar construction planning software would be advantageous
- Full UK driving licence
- Heritage, conservation or restoration project experience would be a significant advantage

Pay: £40,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
