Full job description

Bespoke Stairlifts is an established manufacturer/distributor of stairlift products based in West Yorkshire. Working as part of the CAD Design team the role is responsible for the development of high quality, design drawings using Solidworks software, working closely with the Sales and Production departments.

We are looking for enthusiastic, creative CAD Technicians looking to secure a position within a manufacturing environment based at our site in Huddersfield. The successful candidate must be conscientious about the work they produce and possess good attention to detail.

With a minimum of 2+ years experience working in a CAD Design environment, essentially using Solidworks software.

Duties & Responsibilities
· Ability to interpret survey data to create an accurate CAD model of custom staircases.
· Develop custom drawings for a high standard rail with optimum fit.
· Create and develop fully detailed drawings for both customer and Production use, ensuring the drawings and specification sheets are accurate to dimensions.
· Ensure that safety and environmental compliance is adhered to within the design.

Skills/Qualifications
· With a minimum of 2+ years experience in 3D CAD Design, essentially with experience of using Solidworks software.
· Experience in Design Engineering, or a recognised qualification in CAD design essential.
· Must be able to communicate effectively at all levels.
· Ability to adapt and able to work well under pressure.
