Full job description

Job Overview

We are looking for a professional, friendly, enthusiastic and motivated person who enjoys working with the public, to join our busy Medical Administrator team. Part of this role is to provide a comprehensive service to our clinicians and patients, focussing on preparing medical records and appropriate sharing of records for a range of purposes to support our patients with their referrals onto further services and provide administration support to the clinicians and the practice staff.

The successful applicant will have an interest in primary health care. They will possess strong communication skills and work well as part of a team. They will need to have a flexible working approach, be organised, proactive, self-motivated and can work calmly under pressure.

If you have excellent attention to detail and can work independently as well as part of a team, if you are organised, good at multi-tasking and prioritising this could be the role for you. A good telephone manner and flexibility as well as the ability to keep calm under pressure are essential to the role. Previous experience of working within data protection/GDPR guidelines would be preferred as well as having worked in a medical background but is not essential as full training will be given.

The Swan Practice is a large practice covering Buckingham and surrounding villages, with 3 clinical sites and 1 administration hub. We aim to provide high quality care for over 30,000 patients and are growing continuously. The Swan Practice provides opportunities for staff to progress and develop a career.

Pay: £13.38 per hour
