We’re looking for an experienced part-time bookkeeper for three days a week to join our hard-working team. Due to the rural location, you must have your own transport. For allergy sufferers, please note there are animals at the premises.

Job Description:
· Purchase ledger & supplier payments
· Sales ledger & debtor control
· Payroll & subcontractor payments, processing expense requests
· Processing of quarterly VAT returns
· Bank reconciliations
· Cash flow forecasts
· Month end management accounts & presentation to management team
· Liaising with our external accountants
· Evaluating & improving processes
Successful applicant will:
· Have at least three years’ experience in accounts
· Have proficiency in Sage software to efficiently manage financial records
· Have a proven track record in bookkeeping, demonstrating accuracy and attention to detail.
· Possess good communication & organisation skills
· Have an excellent sense of humour & enjoy working as part of a team
· Have a liking for animals
· Additional advantageous skills:
o Knowledge of the plant and construction industry
o Knowledge of cost accounting
o AAT qualified
