Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable 360 Excavator Operator to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to assist with excavation, site preparation, and other earthworks. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and safe operating practices, ensuring efficient project progression while maintaining high safety standards.

Responsibilities

Operate 360-degree excavators safely and efficiently on various construction sites.
Assist with site clearance, digging, trenching, and loading materials as required.
Conduct routine inspections of the excavator to identify any mechanical issues or maintenance needs.
Follow all health and safety regulations to minimise risks on site.
Collaborate with team members to ensure tasks are completed within specified timeframes.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any incidents or equipment malfunctions promptly.

Requirements

Proven experience operating 360 excavators in a construction environment.
Mechanical knowledge of excavator systems and basic maintenance procedures.
Valid commercial driving licence with relevant endorsements for operating heavy machinery.
Prior experience with excavators and familiarity with site safety protocols.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail to ensure precise operation and safety compliance. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in heavy machinery operation to contribute to diverse construction projects while developing their skills further in a professional setting.

Pay: £21.00-£22.00 per hour
