Full job description

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Fundraiser to join our organisation. The successful candidate will play a vital role in developing and implementing effective fundraising strategies, engaging with funders and supporters, and promoting our mission. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your marketing, relationship management, and public relations skills to make a meaningful impact.

Main Duties

Develop and execute innovative fundraising campaigns.
Identify, research, and cultivate prospective funders and supporters.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing and potential supporters through personalised engagement.
Prepare funding proposals, grant applications, and sponsorship packages.
Organise fundraising events, campaigns, and supporter engagement activities.
Manage funder and supporter information.
Organise and attend events, community outreach programmes, and public relations activities to raise awareness and generate support.
Create compelling promotional materials.
Monitor fundraising progress, analyse data and prepare reports for management and stakeholders to optimise future strategies.
Consult regularly with local communities to assess needs and priorities and respond positively to feedback.
Act as ambassador for Welcome Change, promoting activities and encouraging greater participation.

Key Skills

Proven experience in fundraising, marketing or related fields.
Experience of event and communications campaign planning.
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational and project management skills.
Research and analytical skills.
Customer service orientation with a friendly yet professional demeanor.
Time management and ability to meet fundraising targets.

Pay: £24,420.00 per year
