Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Product Developer & Marketing Lead to join our team. This role is integral to driving the development of new products and leading the marketing strategies that promote our brand. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of market trends, product management, and digital marketing channels, with a focus on building brand awareness and engaging target audiences effectively. Duties
- Lead the end-to-end development of new products, from concept through to launch, ensuring alignment with market needs and company objectives.
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies across various channels, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube and emerging channels.
- Plan, create, edit and publish engaging video content for social media, website, email marketing and paid advertising campaigns.
- Analyse campaign performance metrics to inform future marketing initiatives and optimise ROI.
- Host and manage live selling events across TikTok Shop, Facebook Live, Instagram Live and other relevant platforms.
- Lead platform marketing activities across TikTok Shop, Shop App, Temu, Amazon, Etsy and other marketplaces as required.
- Work closely with the Product Developer & Sourcing Lead to develop compelling launch campaigns for new products.
- Create product-focused content including demonstrations, tutorials, educational videos and behind-the-scenes content.
- Monitor social media trends, platform updates and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and engagement.
- Manage content calendars and campaign schedules to ensure consistent brand presence across all channels.
- Analyse campaign performance, engagement metrics and sales data to optimise marketing activities and maximise return on investment.
- Support product photography, video shoots and creative content production for marketing campaigns.
- Ensure product listings, imagery and marketing assets are optimised across all digital platforms.
- Build and engage online communities, responding to customer interactions and encouraging user-generated content.
- Collaborate with customer service to identify customer trends, feedback and opportunities for content creation.
- Assist in developing influencer, affiliate and brand ambassador partnerships.
- Support email marketing campaigns, promotional activity and seasonal marketing initiatives.
- Work closely with the wider business to ensure marketing activities align with stock availability, product launches and commercial objectives.
- Identify new opportunities to drive traffic, engagement and sales through emerging digital channels and technologies.
- Maintain brand consistency across all customer touchpoints and marketing communications.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and current digital marketing trends.
- Experience creating engaging video content using mobile and desktop editing software.
- Confidence presenting on camera and hosting live selling events.
- Strong copywriting and storytelling skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Commercial awareness with an understanding of e-commerce and online retail.
- Ability to analyse marketing data and make informed recommendations.
- Self-motivated, creative and proactive with a willingness to test new ideas.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience with TikTok Shop, Meta Business Suite, Shopify and marketplace platforms is essential.
- Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite or similar content creation tools is essential.
- Knowledge of crystals, spirituality, wellbeing or gift retail markets is desirable.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
- Passion for social media, content creation and building online communities.
Pay: £30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
