Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems in various settings. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, schematics, and construction processes. The ideal applicant will demonstrate a proactive approach to equipment repair and maintenance, ensuring high standards of safety and quality are maintained throughout all projects.

Responsibilities

Install air conditioning units in commercial premises according to specifications and schematics.
May sometimes conduct routine maintenance and repairs on existing air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance.
Read and interpret technical drawings to facilitate accurate installation procedures.
Troubleshoot issues with equipment, diagnosing faults promptly and implementing effective repair solutions.
Collaborate with other construction or maintenance personnel to coordinate project timelines and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Maintain detailed records of work performed, including inspections, repairs, and commissioning of installations for client documentation purposes.

Requirements

Proven experience in air conditioning installation, maintenance, or related mechanical roles.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems.
Ability to read technical drawings accurately and apply them during installation tasks.
Proficiency in equipment repair and troubleshooting techniques for air conditioning units.
Good understanding of health and safety regulations within the construction or HVAC industry.
Relevant qualifications or certifications in HVAC are preferred but not essential.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments requiring physical activity and attention to detail.
