Job Overview

Join our award-winning Accountancy - we are seeking a conscientious, forward thinking, well organised book keeper who has the confidence to use their own initiative.

In this position you will assist the Lead Accountants and accuratly process the book keeping transactions for a wide variety of Clients. We offer flexibility:- one full-time candidate or two part-time candidates on a job-sharing basis.

Duties

Perform daily bookkeeping tasks such as data input and transaction logging
Verify the accuracy of financial data and reconcile bank statements
Handle accounts payable and receivable with accuracy and efficiency
Keep well-organised financial records in accordance with company policies
Assist the preparation of financial reports and statements as required
Manage financial data using software such as QuickBooks, Xero or IRIS
Support month-end and year-end closing processes
Collaborate with accountants during audits or financial reviews

Qualifications

Proven Book-keeping experience (ESSENTIAL)
Proficiency in accounting software and excel
Understanding of general ledger accounts
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members
Relevant qualifications in accounting or finance are desirable but not essential

Pay: £2,000.00-£2,400.00 per month
