Information for the role of (part-time) Conference AV Support Coordinator
Salary £22,449.14 per annum for 29 hours per week

The setup and management of the College’s conference and event facilities for both internal and external events

Supporting the setup and operation of the AV services for all meetings and events, including hybrid meetings

The moving and lifting of equipment (manual handling training will be given).
To be considered for this interesting role, you will need to have:
-
A minimum of A level in English Language, Mathematics and ITQ (or equivalent)
-
Experience of working with, or using, a range of AV equipment, including theatre and/or conference presentation systems

A knowledge of AV equipment, theatre lighting and sound systems
-
The ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people
-
Experience of working in a customer service role and good customer service skills

The ability to move and lift heavy items (following manual handling guidelines and training)
The ideal candidate will be a team player, with a flexible approach to work and tasks. As you will need to work some weekends and evenings, flexibility on working hours is required. A good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (including Outlook) and of conference event booking software is desirable, as are a current First Aid qualification and UK-valid Driving Licence.
