Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Labourer to join our team and contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will have a passion for gardening, horticulture, and construction, with a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic. This role offers an opportunity to develop practical skills in landscape maintenance and operate various power and hand tools within a supportive environment.

Duties

Assist with general landscape maintenance including mowing, pruning, planting, and fertilising
Operate hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment such as excavators and irrigation systems
Support construction activities related to outdoor projects, including site preparation and groundwork
Maintain tools and equipment ensuring they are in good working condition
Assist with planting trees, shrubs, and flowers while adhering to horticultural best practices
Perform routine garden care tasks such as weeding, mulching, and soil preparation
Support team members in completing projects efficiently and safely

Requirements

Previous experience or knowledge in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is desirable
Mechanical knowledge and proficiency in operating equipment such as excavators and irrigation systems is advantageous
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance procedures
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift heavy materials when necessary
Good organisational skills with an eye for detail
A proactive attitude towards safety protocols and team collaboration
Physical fitness suitable for manual labour tasks over extended periods

This role is ideal for individuals passionate about outdoor work, construction, gardening, or horticulture who are eager to learn new skills within a professional environment.
