Sales & Design Consultant (Artificial Floral Installations)
Location: Office Based with Customer Site Visits
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Salary & Benefits
- £26,436 per year basic salary.
- Company car provided. The successful candidate will be required to travel regularly to customer sites, attend consultations, carry out site surveys, and present design proposals, making travel an essential part of the role.
- £100 commission for every completed and fully paid project.
- Additional non-cumulative project value bonuses:
- £50 for projects valued between £5,000 and £7,499.
- £75 for projects valued between £7,500 and £9,999.
- £100 for projects valued at £10,000 or more.

As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a creative and motivated Sales & Design Consultant to join our team and help customers bring their vision to life.
The Role
This is a unique opportunity that combines sales, customer consultation, and creative design.
You will be responsible for managing incoming enquiries, following up leads, meeting with customers, understanding their requirements, creating visual design proposals, and converting opportunities into completed projects.
This is not a high-pressure sales role. We are looking for someone who can build relationships, understand customer needs, and guide them through the design process with professionalism and creativity.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow up incoming enquiries and leads.
- Conduct customer consultations by phone, video call, and in person.
- Attend customer site visits when required.
- Understand customer requirements and project objectives.
- Create professional visual design proposals and mood boards.
- Use Canva or similar software to help customers visualise their project.
- Present and explain design concepts to customers.
- Manage opportunities from initial enquiry through to sale.
- Build strong customer relationships.
- Maintain accurate sales and customer records.
- Work closely with installation teams to ensure projects are delivered successfully.
Essential Requirements
- Previous sales experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Friendly, consultative approach to selling.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Creative mindset with a strong eye for design.
- Experience using Canva or similar design software.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
Important
The successful candidate must be capable of creating visual design proposals and confidently presenting those concepts to customers.
We are looking for someone who can help customers visualise their installation before it is created, explain design choices clearly, and guide clients towards the best solution for their space.
Applicants should be prepared to provide examples of previous design work, Canva projects, mood boards, presentations, or similar visual work.

Standard Commission
- £100 commission for every completed and fully paid project.
Project Value Bonus (Non-Cumulative)
- £5,000 - £7,499 project value: +£50
- £7,500 - £9,999 project value: +£75
- £10,000+ project value: +£100

What Success Looks Like
Our consultants typically receive between 5 and 10 qualified leads per week.
A successful consultant should be capable of converting approximately 3 to 5 projects per week through excellent customer service, strong follow-up, and compelling design proposals.
Earning Potential
Typical earnings include:
- Around £48,000+ per year when converting approximately 3 projects per week.
- £65,000+ per year when converting approximately 5 projects per week.
There is no cap on earnings for high performers.
