Full job description

Job Title: Warehouse Operative (late shift)

Salary: £13.65 per hour + £0.50p per hour enhancement for late hours, plus enhanced overtime rate

Hours: 40 hours per week Mon – Fri (Late shift 15.30 – 00.00)

Job Purpose: A warehouse Operative will assist in the overall production and despatch of customer’s orders on the late shift.

Responsibilities of a Warehouse Operative:

Taking delivery of goods and supplies
Checking for damaged or missing items
Moving stock around by hand, using lifting gear or a forklift truck may also be required
Picking and packing orders
Loading goods for dispatch (some jobs include delivering)
Keeping records of stock and all paperwork up to date
Cleaning work areas

Skills and Experience Required:

Proven work experience as a warehouse operative
Heavy lifting and manual handling
Motivated with a calm, level-headed approach
Forklift licence required

Personal Attributes:

A good sense of humour
Enthusiastic and team focused
Looking to learn, develop and progress in the workplace
