R1CH Private Office is seeking an exceptional Family Office Lead to act as the primary operational link between the office and the principal of an ultra-high-net-worth family with global interests, residences, travel requirements, and private lifestyle needs.
This is a high-trust, high-discretion role for someone capable of operating calmly and intelligently at principal level. The successful candidate must be able to anticipate requirements, manage complex moving parts, coordinate across multiple locations, and protect the principal’s time, privacy, standards, and operational control.
This is not a standard concierge role. It is a private-office leadership position requiring judgement, emotional intelligence, discretion, and the ability to deliver quietly under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the lead point of coordination between R1CH Private Office and the principal/family.
- Manage day-to-day private office requirements across travel, residences, staffing, logistics, events, and personal arrangements.
- Liaise directly with the principal, family members, advisers, household staff, contractors, security providers, travel operators, and specialist service providers.
- Coordinate global movements, including private aviation, ground transport, accommodation, residence readiness, luggage, staffing, and arrival/departure planning.
- Oversee principal and family visits from pre-arrival planning through to departure reset.
- Ensure residences, vehicles, staff, schedules, bookings, and personal requirements are prepared to exacting standards.
- Anticipate operational, practical, personal, and emotional requirements before they become problems.
- Maintain clear communication between all parties while protecting confidentiality and avoiding unnecessary exposure.
- Manage sensitive matters with maturity, restraint, and calm control.
- Coordinate urgent changes, last-minute requests, travel disruptions, household issues, and high-priority private arrangements.
- Prepare clear updates and reports for the principal, family office, or senior leadership where required.
- Maintain a trusted network of providers, operators, and specialists capable of supporting UHNW requirements.
- Travel internationally when required to support the principal, family, residences, or operational brief.
- Uphold absolute discretion, loyalty, and professional standards at all times.
Required Experience
- Proven experience supporting UHNW individuals, principals, international families, or family offices.
- Strong background in private office, family office, luxury operations, executive assistance, private residence management, or principal-level lifestyle coordination.
- Experience dealing directly with demanding principals or senior private clients.
- Strong understanding of luxury travel, private residences, staffing, hospitality, aviation coordination, and high-level personal logistics.
- Experience operating across international time zones and managing complex schedules.
- Comfortable handling sensitive, confidential, and reputation-sensitive matters.
- Strong provider, contractor, adviser, and household staff coordination experience.
- Previous exposure to Knightsbridge, Mayfair, Belgravia, Kensington, Chelsea, or other prime London private client environments is highly desirable.
Essential Skills
- Absolute discretion and confidentiality.
- Calm judgement under pressure.
- High emotional intelligence.
- Strong anticipatory thinking.
- Excellent organisational discipline.
- Clear and professional communication.
- Ability to manage multiple moving parts without losing control.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to make decisions quickly while protecting standards.
- Polished presentation and professional conduct.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work irregular hours when required by the principal’s movements or operational needs.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be polished, discreet, highly organised, emotionally intelligent, and operationally sharp.
They will understand that UHNW family office work is not about being visible. It is about removing friction, solving problems before they escalate, and ensuring the principal feels understood, protected, and fully supported.
They must be comfortable working behind the scenes, managing pressure without drama, and representing R1CH Private Office with maturity and quiet authority.
