Overview

Join our vibrant team as a Dog Walker and Pet Sitter, where your passion for animals and dedication to exceptional care will shine! In this energetic role, you’ll provide vital companionship and exercise to dogs and other pets, ensuring they feel loved, safe, and happy. Responsibilities

Take dogs on engaging walks, ensuring they get proper exercise and mental stimulation
Provide attentive pet sitting services, including feeding, administering medication if needed, and maintaining routines
Monitor pet behavior during walks and visits, responding promptly to any signs of distress or discomfort
Maintain open communication with pet owners regarding their pets’ wellbeing and any concerns that arise
Ensure the safety of pets by handling them gently yet confidently during walks and care routines
Assist with light cleaning duties related to pet care areas and supplies
Follow specific care instructions provided by pet owners to meet each animal’s unique needs

Skills

Prior experience with veterinary procedures or animal care is highly valued
Strong understanding of animal behavior and handling techniques
Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members
Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary, such as carrying supplies or assisting with larger animals
Compassionate attitude with a genuine love for animals and their well-being
Reliable, punctual, and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Organized with attention to detail to follow care instructions accurately
