Job description

We are seeking Substantive Detective Constables to transfer to Warwickshire Police!

We are looking for Detective Constables with SCAIDP or SSAIDP training/accreditation (or equivalent).

You must have successfully completed your probationary period prior to applying to join us.

Application Criteria:

Substantive in the rank of Constable
Able to pass and maintain the Fitness Test. Vetting and Medical
To be eligible to transfer you must: Be a current serving police officer in a Home Office force
Have no outstanding discipline or integrity issues
Must have successfully completed your probationary period with your Force prior to submitting your application

Another bonus - if you join our CATE or DART team you will receive an additional payment! (Targeted Variable Payment - TVP for 2026/27 will depend whether you are in essential posts - following the Protective Services Review)

Please note that many of our detective roles are designated posts and successful applicants will be required to undertake management vetting.

You will be requested to provide photos of any visible tattoos you have.
