What You'll Be Doing
As an integral member of our clinical team, you will:
● Working in a modern, digital specialist practice with advanced digital imaging (CBCT) and the latest practice software (Dentally)
● Assist our Orthodontists and Orthodontic Therapists chairside, ensuring patients receive exceptional care and support throughout their treatment journey.
● Prepare surgeries and patients for treatment sessions.
● Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked clinical environment.
● Carry out decontamination and sterilisation procedures in line with HTM 01-05 guidance.
● Adhere to all cross-infection control, safeguarding, and GDPR requirements.
● Support clinicians with clinical photography, intra-oral scanning, impression taking, and radiography (where appropriately qualified).
● Fabricate pressure-formed appliances.
● Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
● Provide clear and reassuring post-treatment advice to patients.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
● Fully GDC registered.
● Qualified with a Certificate in Dental Nursing or equivalent NVQ qualification.
● Experienced in dental nursing (one year preferred).
● Friendly, professional, and highly organised.
● A confident communicator with excellent spoken and written English.
● Passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.
Previous experience within orthodontics or a specialist dental practice would be an advantage, but it is not essential. Full training and support will be provided for the right candidate who is eager to learn and grow.
Working Hours
● Monday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
● Tuesday: 8:00am – 5:00pm (until 6:00pm every other Tuesday)
● Friday: 8:00am – 2:15pm
