Full job description

Job Summary:

We are looking for Match day SIA Officers to join our current team. You will be part of a team ensuring that some of the UK and the world's biggest events run in a safe, secure way, ensuring that everyone has a first-class experience.

This is a varied role that will provide great memories: you could be based in the event space, outside with the fans, or helping to protect world-famous athletes and staff. Friendly, professional, and approachable, you'll use common sense to help people and ensure the events run smoothly.

Shifts will be a minimum of 4 hours

Duties May Include

Carrying out pre and post event safety checks.
Searching customers on entry to venues.
Monitoring access points and site perimeter patrolling.
Ingress and egress management.
Crowd management - foot traffic direction, maintaining order, ensuring crowd safety plans are adhered to.
Conflict management.
Deliver approachable customer service and support to guests.
Report any anti-social and suspicious behaviour.
Directing customers around the site.
Dealing with customer ejections from site and physical intervention

Requirements:

A valid SIA license.
Knowledge of first aid procedures is a plus
Keen eye for detail and the ability to stay vigilant to security risks.
Strong observation skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
Physical fitness to perform patrol duties and respond quickly if needed
Must pass a 5 year background check
