Full job description

Job Summary

We are looking for experienced Painter & Decorator Subcontractors to join our network and work on a variety of residential and commercial painting and decorating projects.

Competitive subcontractor rates agreed in advance for every project, based on the scope of work, experience and requirements.

You will work independently as a self-employed subcontractor, delivering a professional, high-quality service to our clients while representing AC Luxe Painting to a high standard.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces including cleaning, sanding, filling and priming
Apply paint, varnish, wallpaper and other decorative finishes
Complete work to a high professional standard
Follow agreed job specifications and client requirements
Maintain a clean and tidy working area
Carry out any necessary touch-ups or finishing work
Use painting equipment, ladders and other relevant equipment safely
Communicate professionally with clients and AC Luxe Painting
Complete jobs within the agreed timeframe

Requirements

Previous experience as a Painter & Decorator
Good standard of workmanship and attention to detail
Reliable and professional attitude
Ability to work independently
Good communication skills
Own relevant tools and equipment
Own transport/driving licence where required for the job
Appropriate insurance and qualifications where required
Right to work in the UK
Ability to provide relevant business/self-employed documentation
