Job outline

The Local Trust Committee wish to appoint a committed Clerk to the Local Trust Committee at St James’ CofE Junior School

About the role

This is a flexible, part-time position supporting approximately 7 meetings per year (mostly evenings, term-time). You will play a key role in ensuring meetings run smoothly by preparing agendas, taking clear minutes, and maintaining accurate records. There may be opportunities for additional hours.

What you’ll do

Organise and support LTC meetings
Prepare agendas and take concise minutes
Follow up on actions and maintain records
Support communication between governors and school leaders

About you

Well organised with strong attention to detail
Confident communicator with good written skills
Able to work independently and maintain confidentiality
Comfortable using basic IT systems
