Full job description

Are you an experienced Residential Conveyancer or Property Solicitor looking for a fresh opportunity in a growing team?

We’re looking for a proactive and client-focused Residential Conveyancer / Property Solicitor to join our busy Conveyancing Department and help deliver a high-quality service to clients buying, selling, and remortgaging their homes.

Full-time, office-based role - hybrid/work from home considered
Residential conveyancing experience essential
Strong client care, attention to detail essential

You’ll be handling a range of residential property matters, including:

Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
Remortgages and transfers of equity
New build and Help to Buy matters
Title checks, enquiries, and reporting to clients
Managing files from instruction through to completion
Liaising with clients, agents, lenders, and third parties
Ensuring compliance with regulatory and lender requirements

This role would suit someone who is confident managing their own caseload, works well in a busy environment, and takes pride in delivering a professional and personable service. We’re looking for someone who is approachable, organised, and keen to play a key part in a friendly and experienced Conveyancing team

Essential Skills

Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, Legal Executive, or experienced Residential Conveyancer
Strong experience handling a residential conveyancing caseload independently
Experience of freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
Excellent client care and communication skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to prioritise workload and work efficiently under pressure
Good IT skills and experience using case management systems
Professional, reliable, and team-focused approach
Ability to work independently and use initiative

Desirable Skills

Experience dealing with new build transactions
Experience of shared ownership or Help to Buy matters
Familiarity with lender panel requirements and post-completion processes
A following would be advantageous, but is not essential
