Looking for a career where no two days are the same?
West Country Bailiffs is one of the South West's leading enforcement and recovery businesses, working with solicitors, landlords, commercial property owners, managing agents and businesses throughout England and Wales.
We're looking for an organised, confident and proactive Legal Case Manager to join our growing team.
This isn't a typical office administration role.
One day you'll be coordinating High Court Enforcement cases, the next you'll be arranging commercial property forfeitures, speaking with solicitors, scheduling enforcement agents across the country or helping clients recover substantial unpaid debts.
If you enjoy solving problems, taking ownership of your work and working in a fast-paced environment where every day is different, we'd love to hear from you.
About the Role
As one of the first points of contact for our clients, you'll manage cases from instruction through to completion, ensuring every stage of the enforcement process runs efficiently.
Working closely with our directors, enforcement agents and external partners, you'll play a key role in delivering an outstanding service to our clients.
No two cases are ever the same, making this a varied and rewarding role with genuine opportunities for progression.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing enforcement cases from instruction through to completion.
- Speaking with clients, solicitors, landlords, managing agents and enforcement agents.
- Preparing legal documentation and case files.
- Coordinating High Court Enforcement, commercial lease forfeitures, evictions and debt recovery matters.
- Booking enforcement attendances, locksmiths and operational resources.
- Liaising with courts and external organisations.
- Providing regular updates to clients by telephone and email.
- Monitoring case progress and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Raising invoices and recording payments.
- Maintaining accurate case records and ensuring compliance with internal procedures.
- Supporting the wider operations team to deliver successful outcomes for clients.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Confident speaking with clients over the telephone and by email.
- Calm under pressure and able to deal professionally with challenging situations.
- A strong communicator with excellent written English.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning new systems.
- Proactive and able to work using their own initiative.
- Positive, reliable and keen to become part of a growing business.
Experience within legal services, debt recovery, enforcement, property, lettings, financial services or case management would be advantageous, but isn't essential. We are equally interested in people with the right attitude, strong organisational skills and a willingness to learn.
What We Offer
- Salary of £26,000–£28,000, depending on experience.
- Salary review following successful completion of probation.
- Full training in a specialist legal and enforcement sector.
- Genuine opportunities for career progression.
- A varied role where no two days are the same.
- Opportunity to work alongside experienced certificated enforcement agents.
- Supportive and friendly working environment.
- Workplace pension.
- 20 days' annual leave plus bank holidays.
