Full job description

We are looking for full time enthusiastic, motivated individual with sound numeracy; telephone; email and letter writing skills. Office based role at our head office in Epsom, Surrey.

Please note: As this is a Junior Role full training will be provided.

Working with the Credit Controller on a mixed portfolio of ground rent, service charge, insurance rent and some section 20 major works funds. This role requires a fast learner who is diligent, organised and professional with excellent communication skills.

Chasing and dealing with lessees by phone, email and post.
Dealing with incoming enquiries from leaseholders such as providing copy invoices, updating correspondence details etc.
Communicating effectively with the Property Managers over lessees concerns.
Run structured reports to establish which units require some form of contact whether that be informal or formal credit control action.
To issue first and second stage reminders at appropriate times as stated in procedures.
To liaise with the Property Managers and with other members of staff as appropriate on arrears matters
Record, track and monitor steps taken to recover arrears
To produce internal arrears reports and financial data on an ad hoc basis
Update and maintain progress schedules/notes for arrears
Advise owners to increase standing orders where necessary
Posting out reminders (using a franking machine)

Qualifications, skills & experience

Maths and English GCSE’s grade 5 or above
Good verbal and written communication skills
Strong work ethic
Abilitity to work alone and as part of a team
Keen to learn new skills and ability to retain and recall information
Self-motivated
Highly organised
Able to work to deadlines
Confident with software including Word, Excel, Outlook and bespoke packages

Pay: £23,500.00-£25,000.00 per year
