Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Loft Insulation Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing high-quality insulation in loft spaces, ensuring energy efficiency and safety standards are met. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within the construction sector, utilising a variety of specialised skills and tools. The position is paid and suitable for individuals with a keen eye for detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

Measure and assess loft spaces to determine insulation requirements.
Install various types of loft insulation materials efficiently and safely.
Prepare work areas by clearing obstructions and ensuring safe access.
Use hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to cut, fit, and secure insulation materials.
Follow health and safety regulations at all times during installation processes.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects within designated timeframes.
Conduct inspections post-installation to ensure quality standards are maintained.
Maintain clean work sites by organising tools and disposing of waste responsibly.

Skills

Proven experience or knowledge in roofing, carpentry, or construction trades.
Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques.
Experience with welding, plumbing, electrical systems, or masonry is a plus but not essential.
Ability to interpret technical instructions and follow safety protocols diligently.
Good organisational skills with an eye for detail and precision.
Physical fitness to perform manual labour including lifting, bending, and working at heights if necessary.
Strong teamwork ethic coupled with excellent communication skills.
