Overview
We are looking for a skilled, freelance Painter & Decorator to support on-going works across residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. A full time contract/employment will be offered following a successful trial period.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and applying primer to ensure optimal adhesion of paints and finishes
- Apply paints, varnishes, and other decorative finishes using brushes and rollers
- Protect surrounding areas by covering floors, furniture, and fixtures during painting activities
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company standards
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace throughout each project
- Drive between different sites as required to complete various decorating assignments
Experience
- Prior experience in painting and decorating is preferred

- Valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate site travel
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
Pay: From £15.00 per hour
