Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our small team in Stallingborough. This role requires the accurate processing of payroll, maintaining employee records, and general administrative tasks. The job role will be start of full time, with the option for part-time as the position develops. A hand over/shadow period will be necessary with the current team.

Duties

Manage the end-to-end payroll process using system Xero.
To oversee and understand the company's transition from Sage to Xero.
Ensure accurate data entry for employee hours, salary adjustments, and other payroll-related information.
Process payments accurately and on time, including deductions, bonuses, and benefits administration.
Maintain and update employee records in compliance with workplace policies and legal requirements.
Assist with accounts payable tasks related to payroll expenses.
Basic administrative tasks including speaking with customers, typing quotations, making appointments

Skills

Experience with accounting software including Xero and Sage.
Knowledge of human resources principles and practices.
Familiarity with accounts payable processes related to employee compensation.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Good communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external vendors as needed.

Pay: £22,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
