Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking Door Supervisors to join our teams in Grimsby. The ideal candidates will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for both staff and patrons. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety and security.

Responsibilities

Monitor entry and exit points to ensure only authorised individuals gain access.
Conduct regular surveillance of the premises.
Respond promptly to incidents, including conflicts or emergencies.
Maintain a visible presence on-site to deter anti-social behaviour and ensure compliance with venue policies.
Complete incident reports.
Be able to work as part of a team.
Take instruction from the Head Door Supervisor and Venue Management.
Must be able to work weekends.

Qualifications

Must have a valid Door Supervisors Licence.
First aid certification is desirable; candidates should be prepared to administer first aid when needed.
Good customer service skills.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups of people.
Strong observational skills with an attention to detail, ensuring all activities are monitored effectively.
Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing potentially challenging situations. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and security of our venue, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to contribute positively in a dynamic environment.
