Full job description

Job Specification:

We’re looking for a driven Estimator to produce accurate quotations for bespoke doorset and joinery projects. You’ll review tenders, engage with customers, and identify value engineering opportunities, working closely with sales and contracts teams to help convert enquiries into successful project wins.

Confidently produce quotations for bespoke doorset packages, as well as panelling and joinery items, in line with the business margin structure.
Confidently assisting customers with project enquiries and project specific queries.
Navigation of folder structure and servers.
Checking tender documents, making amendments where required.
Identifying scope for value engineering as well as gaps or contradicting information within project enquiries and relaying these back to our customers.
Attend internal project handover meetings to formally handover ‘won’ orders to our contracts team.
Attend meetings with customer base where required.
Close engagement with the sales teams.

KPI’s:

Estimating output against set monthly targets.
Quotations returned in line with customer return dates.
Non-Conformance in line with the business expectations.
Conversion Rates in line with the business expectations.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Self-motivated and organised individual that also offers excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A strong team-player with a drive to succeed.
Time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise work.
High standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
Experience of estimating.
Understanding of Doors and Doorsets.
Technical understanding of Ironmongery would be beneficial.
Advanced / Excellent Excel knowledge, V look up, Formulas, Pivot tables.
Detail orientated.
