Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Morning Student Tutor to support students in their learning journey. This role involves working with children to enhance their academic skills, foster confidence, and promote a positive attitude towards education. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and experience working with young learners, including those with special educational needs. The position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students' lives while developing your teaching skills in a supportive environment.

Duties

Deliver personalised tutoring sessions to students in various subjects during morning hours.
Assess individual student needs and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
Support students with homework, exam preparation, and skill development activities.
Create engaging and interactive lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to both students and parents/guardians.
Foster a positive learning environment that encourages confidence and independence.
Collaborate with other tutors and staff to ensure consistency and high standards of tutoring.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and areas for improvement.

Requirements

Previous experience in tutoring or teaching, ideally with children or young learners.
Knowledge of special educational needs and inclusive teaching strategies is desirable.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently.
Genuine enthusiasm for working with children and supporting their educational development.
Organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple sessions effectively.
Flexibility to work during morning hours, with a commitment to punctuality and professionalism.
A recognised qualification in education or related field is advantageous but not essential. This role provides an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about education to develop their skills while making a positive impact on students’ academic success.

Pay: £13.00-£15.94 per hour
