Full job description

Role Overview

The IT Support Manager will be responsible for managing all IT systems in the restaurant, ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of technology platforms including POS systems, payment solutions, networking infrastructure, online ordering systems, cloud applications, and end-user support.

The successful candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities: IT Operations & Support

Manage day-to-day IT operations across the restaurant.
Provide technical support for restaurant staff and manager.
Ensure maximum uptime of business-critical systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.

Restaurant Technology Support

Support and maintain POS systems, payment terminals, kitchen display systems, and self-service kiosks.
Manage online ordering, delivery platform integrations, and loyalty systems.
Coordinate software upgrades and system enhancements.
Ensure smooth operation of technology during trading hours.

Infrastructure & Network Management

Manage LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, and network security.
Monitor system performance and availability.
Maintain servers, cloud services, backups, and disaster recovery procedures.
Coordinate installations for new restaurant openings and refurbishments.

Required QualificationsEducation

Bachelor's Degree in:
Information Technology
Computer Science
Information Systems
Software Engineering
Network Engineering
Related technical discipline

Pay: £26,343.44-£56,317.76 per year
