Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Warehouse Team Leader to oversee daily warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team to achieve daily targets and KPIs
- Allocate tasks effectively and monitor performance
- Provide guidance, coaching, and ongoing support
- Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure smooth workflow
- Ensure all processes are followed in line with company procedures
- Identify and resolve operational issues promptly
- Monitor individual and team performance against targets
- Conduct regular 1:1s, feedback sessions, and performance reviews
- Support training and development of team members
- Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations
- Promote a safe working environment and report any incidents
- Act as a key point of contact between management and team members
- Deliver daily briefings and team updates
- Escalate issues or risks where necessary
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency
- Support implementation of new systems or procedures
Key Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to motivate and manage a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Experience operating forklifts; certification is desirable.
- Organised with strong attention to detail
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks as required.
Desirable
- Experience in warehouse, logistics, or operations environments
- Knowledge of performance metrics and KPI management systems
Pay: £28,000.00-£28,500.00 per year
