Full job description

We are seeking a reliable and organised Temporary Accounts Assistant/ Office Administrator to join our team on a 6-month maternity cover contract. This role is ideal for an experienced administrator with a strong finance background who can support the smooth day-to-day running of the business.

Key Responsibilities

Processing Timesheets using our Tracking Management System
Obtaining Jobsheets from Engineers in accvordance to their Timesheets
Typing up Customer Invoices on Xero
Processing supplier invoices on HubDoc and Xero
Completing bank reconciliations
Managing Employee Training matrix
Supporting additional finance duties as required by the business
Chasing overdue accounts and managing credit control
Answering and directing office telephone calls, liaising with Customers via email or phone.
Managing the company vehicle fleet, including arranging services and repairsRequirements
Scanning and uploading documents
Day to day general office admin

Previous experience in a similar finance and administration role is essential
Experience using Xero and Hubdoc is essential
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively Benefits
Holiday pay calculated on a pro-rata basis
Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 15:00 (including a 30-minute lunch break)
27.5 hours per week
