Update existing drawings to reflect modifications and improvements to existing systems
Check and revise own drawings as needed
Perform all field measurements which may be required to complete an assignment
Perform basic calculations to determine material requirements – e.g., volume, load, stress, etc.
Check vendor design drawings for major equipment against purchase specifications
Prepare purchase requisitions as necessary
May participate in and/or provide technical assistance on equipment start-up operations, and on solutions to maintenance problems which are within their area of responsibility
May direct contractors and in-plant labor on project implementation
