ABOUT ARCHANGEL AI
Archangel AI (AAI) is a UK-based technology company specialising in AI behaviour detection for existing CCTV camera networks. Founded in 2026 after years of research and headquartered in the United Kingdom, Archangel provides real-time detection of behaviours including drink spiking, aggression, exclusion zone breaches, theft patterns and crowd anomalies.
The platform connects to any IP camera network as a software overlay, requiring no new hardware. Archangel serves the hospitality, construction, retail, and transport sectors across the UK, with detection capabilities informed by over 100 years of collective security industry experience within the founding team. The company is UK-built and UK-hosted, with all data processed and stored in the UK under UK law.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The role is employed by and reports into Archangel AI Ltd, while working closely and daily across the businesses that use the platform. It serves as the single point of coordination for technical, contractual and client-critical matters between Archangel AI, software developers and associated businesses.
The role provides a consolidated view of deployment status, provider backlog, throughput and adoption, ensuring a single source of truth that is shared across the businesses and Group so that all parties are aligned and working from the same information.
You will be responsible for managing key relationships between operational/technical contacts; MDs and sales leads of businesses using the platform, including client sites, IT, Security, H&S, Commercial Managers, and Quantity Surveyors.
The role serves two routes to market, sharing one platform but differing in ownership, buyer and volume. It applies the same deployment method to both, calibrated to each, and owns consistency where a client touches both.
AAI Direct Route to Market
AAI's own pipeline, sold directly.
Lower volume, higher-touch and will create key deployments that establish reference value
Intelligence Solution Package
The construction route, via third parties.
Platform embedded as part of an intelligence solution package, the role will need to absorb the volume of deployment.
WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for someone who can take clear ownership of the journey from signed deal to successful deployment and client value.
You will sit at the critical point between sales and delivery, bringing structure, pace and accountability to everything that happens after a deal is agreed. You will coordinate installation, activation and configuration, work closely with client IT and security teams to achieve technical sign-off, and ensure clients adopt the system and realise its value.
You will be highly organised, commercially aware and comfortable operating across technical and client-facing environments. You’ll be a natural problem-solver who is confident chasing actions, removing blockers and bringing the right people together to get things done.
Most importantly, we are looking for someone who takes ownership. You won’t wait for someone else to pick up an issue; you’ll see it through from signed contract to successful deployment, and client value.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Operational Relationships
○ Own the relationships. Single operational point of contact; one prioritised backlog covering code-line requests, releases, testing and issue resolution; low-value asks declined.
○ Hold delivery. Ensure operational relationship rates are maintained. Hold to agreed dates and escalate slippage. The commercial and contractual relationships are a priority.
· Deployment and Activation
○ Own throughput. Own the process from agreed deal to live system including installation, activation, portal set-up and per-site detection configuration and tuning.
○ Build the Method. Establish the repeatable installation and activation method. None exists today; creating one others can operate is what allows deployment to be delegated as volume grows across both routes.
· Technical Sign-Off and Data Protection
○ Represent at sign-off. Provide the technical presence at client IT and security sign-offs; answer data-protection, data-handling and integration questions with authority.
○ Own the DP position. Maintain the standing data-protection position — read-only overlay, no facial recognition, UK hosting — and hold the documentation a client, principal contractor or regulator would expect.
· Adoption, Value and the Link to AA
○ Own adoption. First point of contact once live, so the Director and Sales leads are not the support desk; monitor usage and intervene before disengagement becomes a retention risk.
○ Evidence and grow. Maintain the evidenced-value record and an evidence library usable in tenders and bids; track renewal and expansion across the deployed base.
○ Bridge to AA. Route technical and product matters to AA, represent live-site reality in AA product discussions, and brief sales on what the platform does and does not do.
· Judgement Required. The postholder will often be the only one to see that something convenient for one party is a problem for another, such as a capability promised that does not exist, a request outside licence scope, a shortcut that stores up a retention risk. The role is to raise these early, not to accommodate them. It will not succeed if the postholder is conflict-averse, nor if they act solely as an enforcer.
REQUIREMENTS (ESSENTIAL)
· Technically credible and commercially literate — a bridge, not a pure engineer — able to hold a client's IT function and understand why the deal matters.
· Confident and client-facing at the point deployments are secured.
· Able to configure detection zones, interpret platform data and diagnose underperforming deployments without being a developer.
· The spine to manage a supplier: prioritise firmly, hold dates.
· A builder who establishes process rather than inherits it.
· Composed under concurrent demand across multiple sites, initially unsupported.
· Credible on a live construction site with site and H&S managers.
· Organised enough to run a backlog, tracker and reporting cycle unsupervised.
· Full UK driving licence and willing to travel.
REQUIREMENTS (DESIRABLE)
· Experience deploying SaaS, CCTV or video analytics
· Experience in a multi-entity or partner-channel structure
· A H&S qualification (SMSTS, SSSTS, IOSH or NEBOSH) or willingness to obtain one.
