Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Bike Rider to join our team. This role involves delivering goods and providing excellent customer service within the local area. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, possess strong communication skills, and have a passion for ensuring timely and efficient deliveries. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking flexible working hours and the chance to develop their customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Deliver packages, documents, or goods to customers promptly and efficiently within designated areas
Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and in accordance with company standards
Maintain a professional and friendly demeanour when interacting with customers during deliveries
Plan delivery routes effectively to optimise time and fuel efficiency
Handle parcels carefully, ensuring they are not damaged during transit
Keep delivery records up-to-date and report any issues or delays to supervisors promptly
Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of the bicycle at all times
Follow all safety protocols and traffic regulations while riding

Skills

Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable manner
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
Good organisational skills to plan routes and manage delivery schedules efficiently
Physically fit with the ability to ride for extended periods and carry moderate loads
Reliable, punctual, and responsible with a keen eye for detail
Basic knowledge of local streets and routes is advantageous but not essential
Ability to work independently while adhering to safety standards
