Healthscreen UK is a fast-growing occupational health company looking after worldwide companies to local small businesses in the support of good health within the working environment.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- You will perform clinical activities related to occupational health services, such as health surveillance.
- Assist with various service items including Fit for role medicals, lung function tests, Audiometry tests, and other necessary services.
- Be responsible for the delivery, recording, and reporting of health data.
- Ensure the highest standards of quality-assured, evidence-based practice.
- UK-Wide travel.
- Overnight stays in hotels and B&B’s
- Work very occasional weekends
- Work independently, both within the department and at other locations, delivering high-quality OH services to assigned clients.
- Promote health and wellbeing among employees.
- Good reading, writing and communication skills and the ability to use a computer or laptop.
- Cleanliness and hygiene in the workplace and in your vehicle as this is a medical area also.
- Administrative work in the office and on site working on word, excel, Cloud database system, input of data.
- An analytical mind and an interest in medical issues.
- Respond to all emails in a timely supportive manner
- Work a 37.5 hour week with varied start and finish times. sometimes early AM or late PM
- Travel to site (in your own car), setting up our onsite vehicle or setting up in an office to provide surveillance to employees
ESSENTIAL - OWN CAR - OVER 21 - FULL CLEAN UK DRIVING LICENCE
The use occasionally, of a large van fully equipped for medical assessments.
Previous experience in any of the following fields is beneficial:
- Degree level in a science / sports or similar subject background..
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish, maintain, and develop internal and external business relationships.
- Proficiency and confidence in using IT systems.
- Participation in regular team training and contribution to the development of innovative working methods.

Not already qualified as a Occupational Health Technician?...you will receive:
CPD training for a recognized profession in the health industry. Health surveillance and Screening in-house training and courses by other providers including but not limited to Audiometry, lung function, skin surveillance, HAV's, musculoskeletal, General health and Drug & Alcohol testing.
