£25,169 FTE, £20,135 pro rata (30 hours per week)

At The Myton Hospices, we provide specialist care and support for people with life-limiting illnesses, and their loved ones, from the point of diagnosis to end of life. We are a much-loved and well supported charity, at the heart of our community. We have three hospices, a range of community services, and 26 charity shops in Coventry and Warwickshire.

About the role

Join our Retail team as our Ecommerce Manager, leading and driving our online trading.

This fixed term role will be for 12 months and based in our shops in Rugby, with some flexibility and travel required on occasion. It will be part time at 30 hours per week.

As our Ecommerce Manager, you’ll be:

Managing, developing and recruiting an effective team of volunteers and staff
Delivering a high-quality customer experience
Maximising profit and performance of E-Commerce activities
Achieving budgets and controlling costs
Collaborating with our wider charity retail team

This role is vital to our work, because you’ll be bringing essential income that helps to fund care and support for people with life-limiting illnesses and their families.

About you

We are seeking an eCommerce Manager with:

Experience in online trading/selling, customer care and managing a budget
Numeracy, attention to detail, and a commercial mindset
Team leadership, organisation and prioritisation skills
The right to work in the UK (we cannot provide sponsorship)
Ability to travel throughout Coventry and Warwickshire (+ preferably a full UK driving licence and own vehicle)

This role requires an enhanced DBS check including the children’s barred list because you will be managing some volunteers under the age of 16. We will arrange and cover the cost of this check if you’re offered the role.

Other roles you may have experience of could include: E-Commerce Manager; Digital Marketing; Retail Manager; Store Manager.
