About the Role
We are looking for a commercially driven Marketing Executive to take ownership of key digital performance channels and support the delivery of integrated marketing activity across our retail branches and online platforms.
This is a hands-on, varied role combining strategic campaign planning with full ownership of paid social, PPC and email marketing. You will play a key part in driving revenue growth, customer acquisition, and long-term engagement across the business.

Key Responsibilities
Campaign Planning & Delivery
- Plan and deliver integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, and in-store channels
- Coordinate seasonal activity including Black Friday, Christmas, TPS and key promotional periods
- Manage product launch campaigns and supplier-led marketing initiatives
- Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, on brand, and within budget
- Support promotion of key product categories including cameras, lenses, accessories and services
Paid Social Advertising (Full Ownership)
- Plan, build and optimise campaigns using Meta Ads Manager and Reddit Ads
- Manage audience targeting, segmentation, and retargeting strategies
- Conduct structured A/B testing across creative, messaging and audiences
- Own budgets, pacing, and optimisation to maximise performance
- Report on ROAS, CPA, CTR and conversion performance, with clear accountability for results
PPC & Performance Marketing (Managed via External Agency)
- Coordinate and manage the relationship with the company’s external PPC and performance marketing agency
- Work alongside the agency on Google Ads activity, including Google Shopping campaigns
- Support keyword strategy, campaign structure, and ongoing optimisation initiatives
- Assist with product feed management, bidding strategy reviews, and performance recommendations
- Ensure accurate conversion tracking, attribution, and reporting are maintained in collaboration with the agency
- Review campaign performance regularly with the agency and help identify opportunities to improve ROI, efficiency, and commercial performance
Email Marketing & CRM (Full Ownership)
- Create and manage campaigns using Mailchimp
- Develop segmented and personalised email strategies
- Build automated customer journeys (welcome, re-engagement, post-purchase)
- Analyse performance metrics including open rate, CTR and revenue contribution
Digital & Website Management
- Maintain website content accuracy and commercial effectiveness
- Support merchandising of key products and promotions
- Contribute to improving user journey and conversion rates
- Use customer insights to improve retention and lifetime value
Retail & Local Marketing
- Work closely with branch teams to support in-store promotions and POS execution
- Support local marketing activity to increase footfall and engagement
- Ensure brand consistency across all retail locations
Events & Supplier Coordination
- Support the coordination and promotion of events, exhibitions and workshops
- Liaise with suppliers on joint marketing campaigns and brand alignment
Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Analyse and report on campaign performance across all channels
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve results
- Ensure all activity is aligned with commercial objectives and KPIs
What are we looking for?
Essential Skills
- Experience in a marketing role (retail or e-commerce preferred)
- Hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager (paid social campaigns)
- Experience managing Google Ads campaigns, including Shopping
- Experience using email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp
- Strong understanding of performance metrics (ROAS, CPA, CTR, conversion rate)
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign)
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and act on insights
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisation and ability to manage multiple projects
Desirable Skills
- Experience with Reddit Ads or emerging paid platforms
- Interest in photography or photographic products
- Broader understanding of performance marketing strategy, attribution, and optimisation

Additional Information
- UK travel to branches and events may be required

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
