We are seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Teacher of PE to join our dedicated team from September 2026, to teach Girls’ PE at Key Stages 3 and 4.

Our intake numbers are increasing – we currently have 1,090 students. The PE department consists of a dedicated team of experienced staff, including a Head of Department and five specialist PE teachers. The team is committed to providing students with an outstanding appreciation of physical education, sport and healthy lifestyles, whilst developing confident, resilient and aspirational learners who strive for excellence in both practical and theoretical performance. We offer GCSE PE and NCFE Health and Fitness, both of which are highly popular with large option numbers. The department benefits from excellent sports facilities, enabling high-quality teaching and a wide range of sporting opportunities. You will be joining a collaborative and forward-thinking team that engages with current research and innovation to enhance students’ outcomes and life chances. There is an expectation that all staff contribute fully to the wider life of the school, with extra-curricular provision, fixtures, trips and visits forming a vital and highly valued part of the role, supporting students to develop teamwork, leadership and a lifelong passion for physical activity.

This position would suit an experienced teacher or an ECT.
