We are now seeking a Sales Office Manager to lead our event and reservations sales team. This is a team that is delivering exceptional growth and service excellence.
Role Overview
As Sales Office Manager, you will be at the forefront of driving revenue and business growth across all hotel segments – corporate, meetings & events, weddings, and leisure. You'll be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate communication, team motivation and training, whilst playing your own part in converting sales leads and making detailed arrangements.
You will work alongside the General Manager, Director of Sales, Revenue Manager and the sales team to shape and execute our sales strategy, lead the on-property sales team and champion a proactive sales culture throughout the hotel.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all sales leads, enquiries and promotional wedding and event activities.
- Support the development of the hotel’s commercial strategy.
- Support and develop the on-site wedding, conference and events sales team to drive results.
- Nurture relationships with key conference clients, agencies, and past accounts.
- Conduct regular face-to-face appointments.
- Maintain a structured diary and inbox to ensure timely and professional client communication.
- Drive enquiry conversions and proactively seek further opportunities.
- Achieve revenue targets as defined in the hotel’s annual sales budget.
- Maintain high levels of repeat business by nurturing existing client relationships.
- Host site tours, prepare tailored proposals, contracts and quotations for prospective clients.
- Stay ahead of the local competitive landscape and suggest strategic responses.
- Oversee marketing efforts for weddings and events, including Open Days, brochure updates, social media, and direct campaigns.
- Manage the wedding sales pipeline and track sales metrics to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Foster strong partnerships with event planners, vendors and suppliers.
What We’re Looking For
- A highly motivated, results-driven sales professional with at least 2 years' experience in event sales and event coordination in the hotel industry.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Proven ability to convert business and deliver revenue growth.
- Excellent communication and attention to detail abilities.
- Passionate about exceptional customer service and guest experience.
