GRG Waste UK is made up of 5 companies BKP Waste & Recycling, Greenway Environmental, Novum Waste Recycling, Chloros Environmental and Diverse Waste Solutions that work in unison to offer a wide range of services.
BKP Waste & Recycling are experts in environmental services, with their brand new Transfer Station designed in-line with the highest standards of engineering and design, and Industrial Packaging Decontamination Process to allow for maximum reuse of large containers and recycling of plastic and steel components.
Requirements:
An individual with a high regard for health & safety. A well organised, self-motivated person, having good communication skills and a good team player. A willingness to learn and with a keen attention to detail. FLT license is desirable.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· · Comply with all health & safety policies and procedures, including wearing the correct PPE at all times.
· Work in the Transfer Station to assist with operations as required.
· Unload and load vehicles of all sizes.
· Preparation and loading of Transfrontier Shipments, including wrapping and banding pallets for safe shipment.
· Re-packing, segregation, processing and bulking of wastes as required.
· Operate site plant, including FLT and telehandler as and when required.
· Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained though out the operational areas.
· Work closely with other members of the Transfer Station and Chemist Team to ensure site operations are safe and efficient at all times.
· Comply with any other reasonable request from their line manager to assist in the efficient running of the Business.
· Undertake additional tasks or duties from time to time as necessary to meet the needs of the business.
7am to 5pm Monday to Friday
x1.5 overtime after 48 hours
21 days holiday + all BH in England increasing by 1 day for each full calendar year completed to a maximum of 25 days.
