Job Overview

3.5T / 7.5T / 18T Needed!

Duties

Safely operate flatbed trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver products across designated routes
Load, secure, and unload cargo with attention to safety protocols and proper handling procedures
Verify delivery orders for accuracy and completeness before departure and upon arrival
Navigate efficiently using GPS or maps to meet delivery schedules while adhering to traffic laws and safety standards
Communicate proactively with dispatchers regarding delivery status, delays, or issues encountered on routes
Conduct routine vehicle inspections, maintenance checks, and report any mechanical concerns promptly
Maintain detailed logs of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle condition for record-keeping purposes

Qualifications

Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with flatbed or commercial driving background
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL) is a plus but not mandatory
Familiarity with delivery procedures involving flatbed trucks and cargo securement techniques
Strong driving skills with knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations
Ability to handle physical tasks such as loading/unloading cargo and securing loads effectively
Excellent communication skills for interacting professionally with customers and team members
Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing outstanding service in a fast-paced environment

Pay: £36,000.00-£43,000.00 per year
