Senior Occupational Therapist (Part-Time)

Location: Cricklewood, London (NW2)

Job Type: Part-Time (Flexible)

About Iqra Cricklewood

Iqra Cricklewood is an education and specialist support centre dedicated to helping children and young people reach their full potential. As we continue to expand our specialist services, we are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced clinician to play a key role in delivering high-quality occupational therapy to children with a range of developmental and functional needs.

About the Role

We are seeking a confident and experienced therapist who can work independently, manage their own caseload and deliver evidence-based interventions for children and young people.

The role will primarily involve supporting children with:

* Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

* Sensory processing difficulties

* Fine and gross motor skill delays

* Developmental coordination difficulties

* Difficulties with daily living and self-care skills

* Learning and developmental needs

Key Responsibilities

* Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments.

* Develop personalised intervention plans.

* Deliver high-quality one-to-one therapy sessions.

* Deliver small-group interventions where appropriate.

* Monitor and review progress.

* Prepare professional assessment and progress reports.

* Provide practical advice and home strategies for parents and carers.

* Maintain accurate clinical records.

* Work in accordance with professional, ethical and safeguarding standards.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who has:

* A recognised degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent).

* A minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience, including significant experience working with children.

* Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

* Excellent assessment, communication and report-writing skills.

* The ability to work independently and manage a clinical caseload.

* A compassionate, child-centred approach.

* An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
