Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Trainee Labourer / Fibreglass Technician to join our team. The role involves assisting with fibreglass fabrication and general labour tasks, providing hands-on experience in a supportive setting this physical role . Duties
- Assisting with fibreglass fabrication processes, including cutting, moulding, and finishing
- Operating hand tools and power tools safely and effectively under supervision
- Supporting assembly and installation of fibreglass components
- Preparing work areas and maintaining cleanliness to ensure safety standards are met
- Assisting with warehouse organisation, including stock handling and inventory checks
- Performing basic maintenance tasks such as cleaning equipment and tools
- Applying basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes
Requirements
- Basic understanding of manufacturing is desirable but not essential; willingness to learn is crucial
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques is advantageous
- Previous warehouse or construction experience is beneficial but not mandatory
- Ability to work safely around equipment and follow health & safety procedures
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations
- Reliable, punctual, and eager to develop new skills within a manufacturing environment

We operate Monday- Thursday 7am-5.30pm so the successful candidate will benefit from a long Weekend every week.
Pay: £12.21 per hour
