About the Role:

We are looking for a Head of Corporate Services who can take ownership of our core business support functions. You will oversee administration, facilities, governance, procurement and internal service delivery while ensuring that every department has the resources and support needed to perform effectively.

You are not simply maintaining existing processes. You are expected to identify improvements, introduce practical solutions and build a reliable corporate services function that supports the wider organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

Corporate Services Leadership:

Lead and coordinate administration, facilities, procurement, governance and general business support activities across the organisation.

Operational Planning:

Develop corporate services plans that support the company's strategic priorities, operational requirements and future growth.

Process Improvement:

Review internal procedures, identify inefficiencies and introduce practical improvements that strengthen productivity and service delivery.

Budget Management:

Prepare and manage departmental budgets, monitor expenditure and ensure that company resources are used responsibly.

Supplier and Contract Management:

Oversee supplier relationships, service agreements and procurement activities while maintaining appropriate quality and cost controls.

Governance and Compliance:

Support the implementation of company policies, internal controls, reporting procedures and regulatory requirements.

Team Leadership:

Manage, mentor and develop corporate services employees. Set clear expectations, monitor performance and create opportunities for professional development.

Stakeholder Management:

Work closely with department heads, senior leaders, suppliers and external partners to resolve operational issues and coordinate business support requirements.

Risk Management:

Identify operational risks within corporate services and implement appropriate controls, contingency plans and escalation procedures.

What We Are Looking For:

Experience:

At least 7 years of experience in corporate services, business operations, administration or a related leadership function, including a minimum of 2 years in a senior management position.

Leadership:

Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams and overseeing several corporate support functions.

Operational Knowledge:

Strong understanding of administration, procurement, facilities management, budgeting, governance and internal service delivery.

Communication Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to present recommendations and work with senior stakeholders.

Commercial Awareness:

Able to balance service quality, operational requirements and financial considerations when making decisions.

Problem Solving:

A practical and organised leader who can assess complex operational challenges and implement effective solutions.

Technology:

Confident using Microsoft Office, business management platforms, reporting tools and digital workflow systems.

Mindset:

You are accountable, organised and improvement focused. You understand when detailed planning is required and when quick, practical action is needed.

Pay: £55,329.00-£90,000.00 per year
