Full job description

Are you an experienced receptionist with a background in hotel reception, front-of-house customer service, or retail sales? Are you looking for a rewarding career in healthcare? We are seeking a friendly, professional, and enthusiastic Dental Receptionist to join our busy and welcoming dental practice.

No dental experience? No problem. We are happy to train the right candidate who has excellent customer service skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to build strong relationships with patients.

Key Responsibilities

Greeting patients and providing exceptional customer/Patient service
Ability to offer a 5* service throughout
Managing appointment bookings and diary scheduling
Answering telephone and email enquiries
Handling payments and maintaining accurate records
Supporting the clinical team with administrative tasks
Promoting practice services and helping patients understand treatment options
Exceptional English language/and written skills required

Hours

Monday to Friday: Shift pattern:

8.30 - 5.30 (Monday to Thursday) or 9.30am - 7pm (on a rota basis)

Fridays: 8.30 - 6

Saturdays: 9.30 - 5.30 (2 per month)

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in hotel reception, hospitality, retail sales, or a similar customer-facing role
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
Confident using computer systems and managing appointments
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Sales experience and the ability to build rapport with customers/Patients is highly desirable
