Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Experienced Upholsterer / Cutter to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for cutting fabric and upholstery materials with precision, assembling components, and ensuring high-quality finishes for our furniture and seating products. Your expertise in fabricating and upholstering will contribute to delivering exceptional craftsmanship that meets our standards of excellence. This position offers an energetic environment where your mechanical knowledge, manual skills, and dedication will drive the creation of beautiful, durable products.

Duties

Accurately measure, cut, and prepare fabric and upholstery materials using hand tools and power tools.
Fabricate custom upholstery pieces according to specifications, ensuring proper fit and finish.
Assemble furniture components with attention to detail, maintaining quality standards throughout the process.
Operate warehouse equipment for material handling, including heavy lifting when necessary.
Inspect finished products for defects or inconsistencies, making adjustments as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency during fabrication and assembly.

Requirements

Proven experience as an upholsterer or cutter with a strong understanding of upholstery techniques.
Mechanical knowledge to operate hand tools, power tools, sewing machines, and fabrication equipment effectively.
Familiarity with fabricating furniture components and assembly processes.
Warehouse experience is preferred to handle material storage and movement efficiently.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely as part of material handling tasks.
Strong attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination for precise cutting and sewing tasks.
Good communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
